In the good ol' days, Lonely Planet organised photo competitions and my photographs did quite well: one of my photographs won the fourth place.

A few months later, one of my photos from Norway was the runner-up in the Lonely Planet Photo Competition Out the Window.

For the third time in a row my photo was a runner-up in the Lonely Planet Competition.
This time, in June, the topic was very general - Africa and Asia.
